If your dev copy is closed for public (The Close storefront check box is selected) then you can use it with your production license key.

We have "remote employee" doing some work creating an addon for us. This will be done on updated, clean install of CScart initially and then we will test on a licensed Dev copy of our store(s).
I feel that giving the remote developer our production licence key may present some issues and dont feel comfortable doing so.
We dont want the unlicenced DEV version to be crippled after the trial period is finished.
How do we keep the developers dev install working without restriction if no licence key is installed?
It seems the current lic strategy does not provide for this situation?
