Add Blog Link To Quick Menu

I'm sorry for the most probably silly question, but I can't seem to find it; how can I add a link to the Blog to the Quick Menu (or any otder menu for that matter), I just need the blog URL like this for example: index.php?dispatch=pages.view&page_id=.....

Is there such link to the blog page?

If you are using cs-cart default Blog addon then you can go to Deisgn->Menus->(Select Quick Menu)->Click on it and there you can Add Item. Just put in url field -> pages.view&page_id=(your blog id)

That's what I would like to know also, my Blog ID, where do I find it? Backend only states "page_type=B"

Go to Blog in admin panel enter your blog page and in a browser url will be like ?dispatch=pages.update&page_id=7&come_from=B There you will see pade_id.

My store was upgraded and in order to make it look like the old one some alterations where made, under Blog on the admin I have another page called "News" and all of my entries are under News, I was trying to enter them directly under "Blog" but I have no option to preview Blog page, my admin does not show such an option just when I click "News" page within Blog page.

But thanks anyway, I though it would be simpler, like www.mydomain/blog.html, but I guess it's not.

Go to the parent blog post update page and change seo name in the Add-ons tab

Oh... I see! So all of the articles have to be under a parent page and not directly on the root... I was stubbornly trying to add an article without putting it inside the parent blog page :?

You are right! Parent blog page is used to show list of blog posts

Unfortunately, no. You can only add block with recent posts
