Internal Server Error

Hi All,

I've just installed trial version. the back end seems fine. however, i've created a category and a product. each time i click on either of the category or product, i get the following:





[color=#0000ff]Internal Server Error[/color]



[color=#0000ff]The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.[/color]

[color=#0000ff]Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.[/color]

[color=#0000ff]More information about this error may be available in the server error log.[/color]

[color=#0000ff]Additionally, a 500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.[/color]



is there anything obvious i should be looking out for?

i just thought i'd do the installation again. this message popped up in the second screem:



[color=#0000ff]The URL rewrite engine is disabled. Subpath-based storefront URLs will not work[/color]



i have a feeling that's the problem…



does anyone know how to fix this please?

I think some of the apache modules are missing on your server.



was getting 500 error for missing or disabled (when run on localhost wamp server).



rewrite module

filter module

deflate module

Hi,



You need to enable URL Rewrite or Disable SEO Addon to make your store working.
