Hi All,
I am having a problem on my server, the server often down. So many PHP processes running makes memory leak.
I use it for 2 websites, cs cart 4.1
I use a VPS with 1GB RAM
I get an email notification as follows:
The chkservd sub-process with pid 11820 ran for 3601 seconds. This sub-process was terminated when it exceeded the time allowed between checks, which is 3600 seconds. To determine why, you can check /var/log/chkservd.log and /usr/local/cpanel/logs/tailwatchd_log.
You likely received this notification as a symptom of a larger problem. If your server is experiencing a high load, we recommend investigating the cause. If you continue to receive this notification, it is likely that your system is unable to handle demand or a misconfiguration is delaying restarts.
If you are sure that no misconfigurations exist, you should consider gradually increasing the following options in WHM's “Tweak Settings” feature: “The number of times ChkServd will allow a previous check to complete before terminating the check” and/or “The number of seconds between ChkServd service checks”.

Very small amount of memory to run a VPS and a commercial site. Suggest you go up to something more reasonable like 4GB and you will probably see your problems go away. Your system is probably spending all its time paging memory in and out of disk.

I've found the cause, there are tables that crashes / corrupted. After the repair I could go back to normal. This happened after I added 1 new storefront.
Thank you for your submission, is there a good reference for hosting cs cart? Target market is asia.
DB will creash when it runs out of memory causing tables to need repair. Tables will NEVER need to be repaired in normal operations without some fatal event hitting the db server.
