Wold anyone know if v2.2.4 is compatible with PHP 5.4 and MySQL 5.6.17? Our hosting provider is upgrading. Any issues? I'm hoping to avoid upgrading.

From what I recall PHP 5.4 and v2.2.x are not compatible. PHP 5.3 is as high as v2.2.x goes.
Your host should be able to allow you to select your PHP version using .htaccess or through the control panel it they use CloudLinux.
I don't think the MySQL version is an issue.
