Sorry, it seems that we have no shipping options available for your location.
Please check your shipping address and contact us if everything is okay. We'll see what we can do about it

What exactly does this mean. I have been through the threads on the forum and am getting no where fast...

I have usps activated.

I have all the states in USA active, I have a location setup for the uSA with United states in country and all the states in the states column. Zip Codes, Cities and Addresses are blank...

Please help...

If a localization is set up on the Localizations page check the following

Is a localization required? I do not...

localization is not required unless you want different shipping methods for people in different localizations etc.
Localizations really confused me at the start until I realised they are not needed. Dont get localization confused with location, it is nothing to do with that.

I was having the same issue. Shipping calculations were working fine, then suddenly "No shipping methods available..." etc. Banged my head against the wall a bit, then I discovered for some reason my client had removed their company address from the Settings -> Company section. The shipping needs a origin zipcode to calculate the shipping.

Put an address in here and you should be fine.

Did you try the "test" link in the edit shipping method page? Also, are you sure your merchandise has weight? Did you try to fill in the "Dimensions" section in payment config? USPS is very sensible about that and will not fill these fields in for you by default

Hey,

I'm using Cost dependences not Weight dependences for Manual (by defined location). I'm not using Realtime , any more idea, what is the problem?

Thanks

Me Three on this. I have a new install (2 weeks) and had finished successfully configuring the Fedex & UPS realtime rate calculations and after mychanges tested it via the storefront and now all test customers now have the same error message as "mathialoc" I have checked everything everybody has stated above but no luck.
I'll recheck a third time but hopefully during my 30 day support period CS-Cart can take a look at this and help.

So CS-Cart techs fixed my problem the very night I posted this and requested tech support. Here is a summary of what they did in their words (and I am grateful the problem is fixed;
"corrected minimal weights for each of your shipping methods and after that the issue was gone". I was able to recreate (and toggle off and on) my problem by changing the minimal weights.

Not saying this will fix others but maybe this may illuminate how my settings messed up my cart. Still learning

I have UPS and Fedex active. Followed every stop in post 2 in this thread.

Neither shipping option works and they both fail clicking "test".

Yet another error with this software I have to fix to just try and get it to work.

65fastbacj2+2,
Does it still fail on the customer side? I use USPS and test always fails, because my default address is just United States, no zip code. It needs a "ship from" zipcode in the default addresss for test to work. My methods work on the customer side, even if test fails in the admin. Maybe the same with other shipping methods.
