I’m pretty new to CS-Cart and have a question regarding account types…
What is the point of allowing users to select an account type?
I realise what you can do with different account types but why are all avaliable to everyone when you sign up?
I guess you could always make that field hidden on the form and default everyone to the same group then change users manually in the admin area.
A new feature suggestion would be to set various levels (for example purchase amount, visits, orders etc) which would upgrade a user account to the next level. For example everyone starts on group 1, when they make 10 orders they go to group 2, when they make 20 orders they go to group 3 and so on. This would encourage repeat buys as they get something extra for buying more.
