I have used the Google Base tab in the export data tab of the administration. There is a "id" field in the data but when I view the errors on the google details, it says that there are no "unique identifiers" included in the data.When I look at the data on the merchant site i see id #'s like '29827'. I know that this 29827 is assigned when the product is created but I can't find it on the site. Also the code numbers that I assigned are not listed int the list of fields on the Google Base Tab.
Can anyone tell me where to find this Id that the cart assigns? also Does anyone know what Google is looking for as a "unique identifier"?
Thanks :(

I have also exported data from the Google Base tab and had a similar question.
What is the "unique identifier" Google is looking for?

From what I have noticed;
- There is an ID field in the export window and there is an ID field in Google Merchant Center. I do not know if these are the same fields.
- There is a UPC field in the export window. There is a GTIN in Merchant Center. The Merchant Center GTIN seems to be the same as the Product Code in the CS Cart product page.
- I created a Feature and called it UPC, then I entered some UPC numbers. I do not see these UPCs in the Merchant Center.

I am still not sure which is the Unique Product Identifier.
How to enter it into CS Cart?
How to export it to Google?

I wonder what is Google's "unique identifier". It is not clear to me.

I am pretty sure now that the google unique identifier is a upc code. This is a "reccomended" item.
I now am up against the new rules as of sept 22. there is an item called "availability" that I see in the cart on each product page> It has a date that the product was available. I filled in all of these but got rejected by google base anyway. In the list of attributes that are on the google base upload there is nothing that reads "availability". Does anyone know what to do to achieve this?
Thanks

Most of these problems were solved by the last update of the cart with the addition of "features" in the product details. The upc is a product code used by the manufacturer to identify the product so that any reference by anyone to that code will reflect the exact same item.
