@caHek

Hi there,

I am experiencing this little issue when I click the Like button under the Add to Cart button, the facebook comment window is goin underneath the Products tabs bar...

Another thing is that under Facebook comments to the bottom, I'd like them to by the same width as the Products tab 600px meaning, where should I change this ?

Thank you very much, this is a very useful tool!
Love it!

We have tested the add-on and found one bug! This add-on adds a string in header "....no_image...." which causes Facebook cannot find the pictures on your website.

REQUIRED OPTIONS AND FEATURES

I think it would be good if extra options were available so that the module add-on can be further configured more easily by shop administrators.

Example "options" and settings:

- Moderate Comments.
Perhaps have setting "do not publish comments until approved?" for guests and registered users?

- Moderate logged in users?
Yes / No

- Word Filter
Remove words - e.g. offensive words, other words (http://, www. and other competitors!)

- Accept Comments
Yes / No (enabled / disabled)

- Accept "Like's"?
Yes / No (enabled / disabled)

- Require visitors to be signed in before posting comment?
Yes / No

- Require visitors to be signed in before clicking "Like"?
Yes / No

Thank you!

Is it me or does a like only show up on a users facebook page as long as they include a comment. I have been testing by liking some of my pages and they don't show up on my timeline unless i include a comment. Anyone know how to get around this?

As far as I can tell likes do not show up on your timeline (which is typically what every users friends will be seeing). They only show up on the timeline when you include a comment.

Even I like to know because the facebook like button deosn't appear on my pages even though I've enabled it. It is perfectly working with v 2 but not with 3.

I have 2 versions installed in 2 different sub domains. Ver 2 is installed on "x.onlineam.com" and V 3 is installed on "y.onlineam.com"

Do I have to have 2 different facebook accounts to input developer ID or can I use the same ID for both? The issue is, the link doesn't appear at all...

Hi,
I am totally new to CS Cart and have no knowledge of web development, programming etc, so sorry for the silly question, but I would like to know concretely and in detail how do I install/download the facebook add-on on CS CART. I have the file on my computer and do not know what to do with it, I am afraid of messing up everything in the store..

Thank you for any help!

The facebook addon will work in CS-CART 3.0.2. Before installing it, rename the "base' directory in the addon files on your computer in \var\skins_repository to "basic". Then move it via ftp to your server and install it via the addons in your admin section of your store. After installing in move the facebook files in the \var\skins_repository\basic\customer\addons\ to \skins/basic/customer/addons on your server. I know this is a workaround but it works.

Hi Eduard,
Thank you so much for your help, you explained it very well. I did and it worked, but the thing is: I now see the facebook add-on in the "template editor" tree in my store admin area, but it does not appear in the "Administration>Add-ons" so i cannot install it.
I did everything you said with the "var" file, but when I downloaded the facebook add-on into my computer at first, 2 separate directories came up: "var" and "add-ons".
I only put the var directory in the server...
Is this why I have this problem now? If so how can I solve it?

Thank you very much for your help!
