EZ Merchant solutions has implemented a Buy Now button that is configurable for your shopping cart.
The button can replace the Add To Cart button or be in addition to it. The text of the button is configurable.

When a user clicks the Buy Now button, the item is added to the cart and the user is taken to the ckeckout page. If they are a registered user and logged in then all their info is filled in from their profie and the are at the “payment method” section. If they are an anonymous user then they are at the “contact info” portion. The register/checkout_anonomously portion is skipped.
The user then completes the checkout process… If a parameter is POSTed or GETed of the name ‘flex_return’ with a return URL, then at completiong of the checkout process the user is returned to that URL.

Licensed reseller (of cs-cart) and a licensed re-brander (ez-cart). The cs-cart version we sell is out-of-the-box cs-cart. Only we sell it at a discount. Ez-cart is a rebranded version with some additional enhancements included.
Both are priced the same. Customer choice.

No, they just broke it! The changed the method related to how sub-pages are resolved. I.e. it used to work that you could use yourdomain.com or if it was a sub page of ‘junk’ you could use yourdomain.com. But they changed it so that the first instance no longer worked. Of course there was no notification that functionality was changing, you just had to upgrade and find out for yourself why all the page links on your site no longer worked.

What did you do about it Tony? I just resubmitted my site map to google and redirected my top ten links from the cpanel (hopefully that takes care of the redirecting). I hope google doesn’t think I’m trying to make duplicate content or anything. That would be horrible considering I had nothing to do with the SEO links being different. CS-Cart should have sent out a warning message to anyone upgrading from 0.6 -0.8 that the links will change.

Well, I *****ed and moaned (on deaf ears) and then just went in and changed all my links. They are all now referred to in their hierarchial form.
