With every industry you've got to target a certain demographic - this forum is full of whiny cheap asses who think Freelancer.com is a valid destination for coding projects. It would be better worth your time to refine your addons and target CS-Cart stores in Australia / New Zealand who will appreciate your efforts based upon the expected charge ($500 may be high in USD, but it certainly isn't in AUD).

This is exactly why I quit building my shipping add-ons for CS-Cart. Potential customers would always low-ball my prices and had no appreciation for the time and effort required to deliver a quality product. I did manage to land a few good clients with whom I shared these addons, but the rest were just not worth the hassle.

Yes unfortunately 100% agree and you are the 4th developer who I know of who does not sell or stopped selling his addons. CS Cart community is shooting itself in the foot.
As you say we have had some great customers trough the forum but the amount of bull from some forum members and customers is just not worth it.
Fortunately we never have and don't depend on addon sales. We still debating with the team but it's very likely hat we stop selling our addon latest by the end of the year and as previously just provide the addons to our development customer.

After he provided invalid transaction details, there is not a single email correspondence from anything relating to a sales at the time he mentioned nor correspondence of problems, we do not sell in US$, he would neither give his name or email address and it's a “transaction” which is supposed to have happened 3 years ago.

@jjtrottier - i never bought any addons from you, BUT as i see from your share comments - its different from what i review about. i do appreciated time of development because of price that developer have put. BUT you must ethic of quality product and service if you sell in range that price to customer. atleash provide manual to install the addons. because in this case of my review, i would like install addons byself - are its wrong because expensive side? and should force to subscribe install service to make addons work?
